Barca are top of La Liga (Spain's national championship). When we arrived last Saturday evening, Barca had just finished a 3-0 home win at Camp Nou.
Barca shirts are everywhere in the city, something tourists rarely see in Paris (France) or Munich (Germany), which are also home to top European football clubs.
Barca's home stadium has just been renamed Spotify Camp Nou in a sponsorship deal worth up to 300 million euros. The stadium is about to undergo renovations and upgrades and this could be the last time visitors visit the stadium.
