“July gratitude”

(CT) - Ms. Phan Ngoc Tuoi, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, President of the Women's Union of Ninh Kieu Ward, informed: The Women's Union of the ward has just coordinated to organize "A Meal with Mother" at the house of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Le Thi Binh (photo). Mother Le Thi Binh has two sons, martyr Nguyen Van Thi and martyr Nguyen Van Thanh, who heroically sacrificed their lives in the resistance war against the US to save the country. She is living with her children and grandchildren at 158/58 Nguyen Viet Hong Street, Ninh Kieu Ward.

The Women's Union of Ninh Kieu Ward also coordinated with the ward's socio -political organizations to organize a delegation to visit and present gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and 10 typical policy families in the area, with a total value of 11 gifts worth 6 million VND, from socialized sources.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Women's Unions at the grassroots level in the city organized and coordinated many activities to show gratitude to the heroic Vietnamese mothers and families with meritorious services. Specifically: The Women's Union of Dong Hiep commune organized a visit and presented gifts to the heroic Vietnamese mothers and 3 typical families with meritorious services in the area. The Women's Union of O Mon ward organized a series of activities "July gratitude", cleaning, changing flowers, and cleaning the tombstones of heroic martyrs at the O Mon Martyrs Cemetery and organized visits and gifts to members' families with relatives who are martyrs in Thoi Binh A1 area, O Mon ward.
