With many years of experience growing tea, Ms. Trang Min Duong knows clearly which stages need care and fertilization, in which priority is given to using organic fertilizer; the best time to harvest buds. Therefore, with 1 hectare of tea, each crop, Ms. Duong's family earns about 6 to 7 million VND.

Ms. Trang Min Duong, Sin Chai village, Thanh Binh commune, Muong Khuong district shared: "Tea growing is also consulted and supported a lot by the commune, as soon as the tea is harvested, it is purchased by factories and businesses, so the income is very stable."
Thanh Binh is a locality that started growing tea later than other localities, so most of the tea acreage is under 10 years old. Currently, the tea trees are in the healthy growth stage, giving the highest yield and the most stable productivity. Farmers here are also very enthusiastic about growing and caring for tea because of the economic value this crop brings.
Ms. Giang Cha Din, Sin Chai village, Thanh Binh commune, Muong Khuong district shared: “My family has only grown tea. Growing tea is less difficult because there are people coming to the fields to buy it, so we don’t have to worry about where to sell it.”
Thanh Binh commune currently has over 800 hectares of tea, of which 600 hectares are commercial tea. Up to this point, the output has reached about 3,400 tons of fresh tea buds, with selling prices ranging from 7,000 - 8,000 VND/kg, achieving revenue of over 24 billion VND.
