Thanh Hoa province has just released a draft plan for streamlining the organizational structure of its political system.
On December 9th, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee released information on the first draft of the plan to streamline the organizational structure of the political system in Thanh Hoa province, in implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017, of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (12th term).
Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh urged all levels and sectors to promptly implement tasks in the spirit of "running while queuing".
Accordingly, Thanh Hoa province will merge the following units: the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; the Department of Finance and the Department of Planning and Investment; the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction; the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Science and Technology; the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Department of Home Affairs.
According to the draft proposal, Thanh Hoa province will terminate the activities of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc; the Provincial Committee for the Protection and Care of Cadre Health; the Thanh Hoa Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center; and 11 party groups and party committees of provincial-level agencies and units.
Thanh Hoa province held a meeting of the steering committee and provided information on the first draft of the plan to streamline the organizational structure of the provincial political system.
Mr. Nguyen Doan Anh, Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, urged all levels and sectors to promptly implement tasks in the spirit of "running and queuing at the same time" and with the motto "The central government does not wait for the provincial level, the provincial level does not wait for the district level, and the district level does not wait for the grassroots."
During implementation, it is necessary to adhere closely to the requirements of the Central Government and ensure suitability to the local situation. Party committees, Party organizations, agencies, units, and all levels and sectors, especially leading officials, heads of departments, and members of the steering committee, must set an example and proactively implement the assigned tasks with the highest determination and decisiveness; identify priority tasks and coordinate smoothly in their implementation.
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh stated clearly: The task of streamlining the organizational structure is extremely difficult, directly affecting people and organizations. Therefore, every organization and individual involved needs to make a high level of effort and determination, and must bravely sacrifice the personal interests of cadres, Party members, civil servants, and workers for the common good.
