Thanh Hoa successfully carries out key and central tasks

On October 16, the 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, held its closing session. Attending were 486 delegates representing more than 240,000 party members in the entire Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

Promoting collective intelligence, the 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress completed 4 congress contents; especially discussing and approving the common goal, 32 specific goals in various fields, 8 key tasks, three breakthroughs and focusing on group discussions on solutions to successfully implement the Resolution of the 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress.

Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee continues to innovate the leadership methods of Party committees and organizations at all levels; promote administrative reform, strongly apply information technology, digital transformation in Party agencies and the political system; build and apply criteria and indicators to evaluate the effectiveness and quality of organization and operation of Party agencies, authorities and mass organizations at all levels.

Focus on building a strong Party in terms of politics, ideology and ethics; continue to innovate, reorganize the apparatus and build a contingent of cadres, improve the effectiveness of the political system. Consolidate and improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots party organizations, improve the quality of party members. Strengthen internal political protection work; strictly manage cadres and party members.

Strengthen the close relationship between the Party and the people, promote the role and responsibility of elected bodies and the role of the people in participating in Party building. Improve the quality and effectiveness of internal affairs; resolutely and persistently fight against corruption, waste and negativity.

Innovate processes and methods, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection and supervision work of Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Committees at all levels. Focus on inspection and supervision of areas prone to violations; strengthen self-inspection, promote the responsibility of self-examination, self-correction, and self-overcoming of shortcomings and defects of Party organizations and Party members.

Proactively grasp the situation of party organizations and party members, promptly detect and conduct inspections when there are signs of violations, especially in localities and units with many petitions, letters, and areas where violations are likely to arise. Improve the quality of coordination in performing inspection, supervision, and party discipline tasks between the inspection committee and the inspectorate, law enforcement agencies, and related units. Continue to review, improve, and strengthen the organization, apparatus, and staff of inspection committees at all levels to meet the requirements of assigned tasks.

Improve the effectiveness of detecting, investigating, and handling corruption and negative cases and recovering assets appropriated or lost in corruption cases and incidents.

Thanh Hoa continues to strongly and steadily develop science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, becoming an important and breakthrough driving force to promote rapid and sustainable socio -economic development. Strongly promote the role of traditional growth drivers and new growth drivers, ensuring the completion of the double-digit growth target, creating a clear change in growth quality.

Promote economic restructuring associated with in-depth growth model innovation, based on the application of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation. In particular, strongly shift the mindset of agricultural production to agricultural economy; promote the development of digital agriculture, clean agriculture, green agriculture, and circular agriculture according to the value chain.

Strongly develop industry and construction in a modern direction; prioritize the development of strategic industries, spearhead industries, emerging and advantageous industries.

Restructuring the service industry based on the digital economy, modern technology and promoting socialization, prioritizing the attraction of tourism development, logistics services, high-quality services, and high added value. Focusing on developing 3 main types of tourism: sea tourism, community eco-tourism and cultural and historical tourism; developing additional complementary tourism products, combined tourism products and services; developing logistics services associated with multimodal transport.

Thanh Hoa continues to develop a synchronous and modern socio-economic infrastructure system, creating a basis to promote the connection between regions, areas, and dynamic economic centers; pay attention to synchronous and reasonable development and strengthen the connection between types of road, rail, waterway and air transport; promote urban development and new rural construction, sustainable and harmonious development between regions; create more opportunities, create jobs, implement sustainable poverty reduction, ensure social security, and clearly improve the material, cultural and spiritual life of the people.
