Seven Advisory Councils were established by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term.

At the second meeting of the Presidium of the 10th term, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , To Thi Bich Chau, presented a report on the establishment of Advisory Councils of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term, 2024-2029.

Accordingly, the Advisory Council is a non-professional organization of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, with the function of advising the Central Committee, the Presidium, and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on matters related to the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Building upon the organizational structure, number, and composition of the Advisory Council (9th term), the 10th term Advisory Council expands its membership to include members of the Presidium, Committee members, and Chairpersons of the Fatherland Front in provinces and cities; as well as reputable experts and scientists in various fields who are dedicated to the work of the Fatherland Front. The Advisory Council operates openly, democratically, and in accordance with its operational regulations and the provisions of the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

According to Vice Chairperson To Thi Bich Chau, the Advisory Council of the 10th term consists of 7 Councils: Advisory Council on Democracy and Law; Advisory Council on Economy ; Advisory Council on Culture and Society; Advisory Council on Ethnic Groups; Advisory Council on Religion; Advisory Council on People's Diplomacy and Overseas Vietnamese; and Advisory Council on Science, Technology and Digital Transformation (the 9th term was the Advisory Council on Science, Education and Environment).

The Council structure includes: the Chairman, who is a member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Vice-Chairmen: each Council has 3-4 Vice-Chairmen, including one leader of a specialized department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front related to the Council's field of activity; Council members: 20-45 members.

Regarding the personnel participating in the Advisory Councils, Vice Chairperson To Thi Bich Chau stated that, based on the personnel nominations from the Steering Committees of the Advisory Councils (of the 9th term) and the specialized committees of the agency, the Standing Committee has selected and compiled a list of personnel to participate in the Advisory Councils of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term, with a total of 187 members/7 Advisory Councils.
