Establishment of the Organizing Committee of the Forum on Law-making

The Organizing Committee consists of 15 members. Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man is the Head of the Committee.

Party Central Committee member, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh is Deputy Head of the Standing Committee.

The Deputy Heads of the Committee include: Chairman of the Committee on Law and Justice Hoang Thanh Tung; Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment Phan Van Mai; Chairman of the Committee on Economy and Finance Phan Van Mai; Chairman of the Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Le Tan Toi; Permanent Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh; Chairman of the Committee on Culture and Social Affairs Nguyen Dac Vinh.

Members include: Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Manh Hung; Deputy Head of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee, Major General Nguyen Quoc Hung; Deputy Head of the Economic and Financial Committee Doan Thi Thanh Mai; Deputy Head of the Law and Justice Committee Nguyen Thi Mai Phuong; Deputy Head of the Law and Justice Committee Ngo Trung Thanh; Deputy Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Thuy; Deputy Head of the Science, Technology and Environment Committee Nguyen Phuong Tuan.

The Resolution stipulates: The Organizing Committee is responsible for directing and deciding on policies related to the preparation and organization of the Forum.

The Head of the Organizing Committee directs and manages the general activities of the Organizing Committee and assigns tasks to the Deputy Heads and members of the Organizing Committee of the Forum.

Organizing Committee members proactively handle work within the assigned scope and field; perform other tasks assigned by the Head of the Organizing Committee.

For matters related to the areas of responsibility of many Deputy Heads of Department, the Head of Department shall assign a Deputy Head of Department to preside over and coordinate with other Deputy Heads of Department to resolve.

In case the Head of the Board is absent, the Permanent Deputy Head of the Board shall be assigned to direct and manage the contents.

If necessary, the Head of the Committee shall adjust the assignment of tasks to the Deputy Heads of the Committee and the members of the Forum Organizing Committee.

The Resolution also stipulates the specific duties and powers of the members of the Organizing Committee.
