Bac Ninh honors exemplary businessmen and enterprises

At the conference, on behalf of the leaders of Bac Ninh province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan commended and expressed gratitude for the tireless efforts, creative spirit, innovation, resilience, and high social responsibility of all businesses, entrepreneurs, business associations, business people's associations, and organizations representing the business community in the province.

Over the years, despite facing numerous global economic fluctuations, natural disasters, epidemics, tariff conflicts, and increasingly fierce competition, Bac Ninh has remained steadfast in its goal of sustainable growth, maintaining its position as one of the leading dynamic localities in the country, thanks to the significant and sustained contributions of its business community and entrepreneurs.

Thanks to this, Bac Ninh's economy has achieved many important results, becoming one of the leading provinces nationwide. In the first nine months of 2025, GRDP growth reached 10.12%; industrial production value reached over 1.7 trillion VND, an increase of 15.3%; export turnover exceeded 65.7 billion USD, an increase of 26.4%, ranking second nationwide; over 5,400 new businesses were established; and more than 4.8 billion USD in FDI capital was attracted, ranking second nationwide...

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee stated that the province currently has over 33,500 operating businesses, contributing over 53% of the total domestic budget revenue, creating stable jobs for hundreds of thousands of workers, and actively participating in social, humanitarian, and charitable work. Based on these achievements, it can be affirmed that the business community and entrepreneurs of Bac Ninh province are the central and pivotal force, making a significant contribution to the new face and stature of Bac Ninh today – a developed, dynamic, integrated, and promising industrial locality.

This once again clearly affirms the spirit of Resolution No. 68 NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025, of the Politburo on the development of the private economy, considering the development of the private economy as the most important driving force of the socialist-oriented market economy. Bac Ninh is a vivid example of this correct policy, as the business community and entrepreneurs have become and are becoming the core force, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

Sharing his vision for future development, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee, Vuong Quoc Tuan, emphasized that the first Bac Ninh Provincial Party Congress, for the 2025-2030 term, set the strategic goal of making Bac Ninh a centrally-governed city before 2030 and a green, civilized city with a strong Kinh Bac cultural identity by 2045. The province prioritizes three strategic breakthroughs: breakthroughs in institutions and policies; breakthroughs in human resources; and breakthroughs in infrastructure. Emphasizing Bac Ninh's deep understanding that business development leads to provincial development, and strong businesses contribute to socio-economic stability, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the Bac Ninh provincial government is committed to always accompanying and supporting businesses in a spirit of service and creation; promoting administrative reform, digitizing all processes, ensuring transparency and shortening processing times; strengthening thematic dialogues, and promptly addressing and resolving business concerns. Building a team of professional, dedicated, and responsible administrative officials who serve the people and businesses.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee called on the entire business community and entrepreneurs in Bac Ninh province to continue to uphold the national spirit, unleash internal strengths, enhance competitiveness, and steadfastly overcome all difficulties and challenges; proactively adapt, seize opportunities, and work together with the province to realize the goal of making Bac Ninh a centrally-governed city before 2030.

On behalf of the business community, Mr. Na Ki Hong, General Director of Samsung Vietnam, expressed his gratitude to the leaders of Bac Ninh province and its departments and agencies for their continuous efforts in creating a favorable investment environment and supporting the business operations of enterprises.

Particularly during the COVID-19 period, the province implemented innovative policies such as the 'Three on-site' initiative to prevent disruptions to the business's supply chain. More recently, the province has also implemented measures to ensure stable electricity supply; improve infrastructure around factories to cope with floods; and establish an FDI business association… Samsung is committed to making every effort not only to ensure stable production and business operations but also to actively participate in local charitable activities and training future talents in Bac Ninh province, becoming a business that contributes even more to the province's socio-economic development," emphasized the General Director of Samsung Vietnam.

On this occasion, authorized by the President of Vietnam, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Thi Huong, presented the Second Class Labor Medal to Mr. Nguyen The Hong, Director of Nam Hong Royal Museum Co., Ltd., for his outstanding achievements in preserving national treasures; and 26 exemplary enterprises that have contributed to tax and social welfare received Certificates of Commendation from the Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee.
