The event took place within the framework of the meeting and exchange at the beginning of Spring At Ty 2025 of the business community, intellectuals, and overseas Vietnamese in China.
The establishment of Vietnamese Ao Dai Heritage Clubs in many countries across continents in recent times is an initiative and effort of the members of the Vietnamese Ao Dai Heritage Club in preserving, promoting and promoting the value of Ao Dai in particular and Vietnamese cultural heritage in general. Reality has shown that Ao Dai is both a symbolic costume, connecting the Vietnamese community, and making a strong impression and winning the hearts of international friends.
At the ceremony, Dr. Dang Thi Bich Lien, former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism , Head of the Women's Club with Cultural Heritage congratulated and highly appreciated the significance of the establishment of the Vietnamese Ao Dai Heritage Club in China.
Ms. Bich Lien emphasized that the ao dai is not only a symbol of cultural tradition, the gentleness, grace and dignity of women; an outfit worn in formal events and festivals of the community and family, but the ao dai is also a work of art, a delicate craft; a symbol and a subject of endless creative inspiration for designers and artists.
The establishment and launch of the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club in China is expected to mark an important milestone in the process of promoting and honoring the value of Vietnamese Ao Dai costumes and culture to international friends in general, as well as in China in particular. The Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club in China will be chaired by Dr. Pham Thi Thanh Loan, General Director of Viet Viet - Guangdong Tourism and Trade Services Co., Ltd.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam, Head of the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club, the establishment of the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club in China is a strong demonstration of the deep affection of the Vietnamese community in China, always looking towards the homeland and trying to preserve and maintain the heritage values of the nation. Through this meaningful cultural bridge, in the coming time, there will be more events contributing to the connection and promotion of trade, culture, education , tourism... between the two countries of Vietnam and China.
