At the launching ceremony, the Board of Directors of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group announced the decision to establish Binh Thuan Petroleum One Member Co., Ltd. with 100% charter capital held by the Vietnam National Petroleum Group; decisions on the group's management officers at Binh Thuan Petroleum Company. In particular, Mr. Dang Trong Dien - Deputy Director of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Petroleum One Member Co., Ltd. directly serves as Director of Binh Thuan Petroleum Branch and holds the position of Chairman of Binh Thuan Petroleum One Member Co., Ltd. from July 1, 2024.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Mr. Dao Nam Hai - General Director of Vietnam National Petroleum Group highly appreciated the efforts of the Board of Directors and employees of Binh Thuan Petroleum Company. At the same time, he said that the launching ceremony of the Company is one of the important contents contributing to the initial successful implementation of the "Project to restructure Vietnam National Petroleum Group for the period 2021-2025, vision 2035".

On this occasion, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group donated 3 billion VND to support the Social Security Fund of Binh Thuan province. Of which, it supported the construction of 40 Great Solidarity houses for poor households with an amount of 2 billion VND and supported the provincial education promotion fund with 1 billion VND.
It is known that Binh Thuan Petroleum Company, 100% of which is owned by Vietnam National Petroleum Group, was separated from Binh Thuan Petroleum Branch under Ba Ria - Vung Tau Petroleum Company Limited. Before the separation, Binh Thuan Petroleum Company had been operating in the province for 28 years (headquartered at No. 13, 19/4 Street, Phan Thiet City).
The company currently has 22 retail stores and 12 stores in the franchise system spread across the province; the output of gasoline sold reaches more than 82,000m3/year. The separation from a Branch into a Company helps the Company to be proactive in investing in developing a network of gasoline stores in the area; Actively coordinate with local management agencies in operating gasoline business activities, contributing to ensuring energy security, meeting gasoline demand for socio-economic development and people's consumption.
