In the context of the country's transformation, the pioneering mission of youth is highlighted through the activities of the Central Youth Union.
On the afternoon of March 13, the forum "Voice of Youth - Action of the Union" chose the theme "Youth mission in the era of national rise" organized by the Central Youth Union with nationwide connections.
This is an opportunity for Vietnamese youth at home and abroad to share their thoughts on the 94th birthday of the Union, especially in the context of the country's transition into a new era - the era of national growth.
Vietnamese youth research, innovate, and digitally transform
Dr. Pham Huy Hieu - a typical young face of 2024 - asked the Central Youth Union if there was any program to support young scientists in applying and researching into practice and proposed forming a fund to support young scientists in researching and promoting the process of applying into practice.
Student Nguyen Huu Tien Hung ( Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted) hopes that the delegation will help students access new technology and promote youth in the process of building and developing the country.
First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Bui Quang Huy said that the Central Youth Union and Youth Union chapters at all levels must help young people have a passion for scientific research. The Youth Union coordinates with schools and research institutes to encourage creativity and risk-taking in the research process, expand the digital learning movement, and improve digital skills for individuals and the community, including "popular digital education".
Mr. Huy said that young people are an important force participating in implementing the country's development goals. The Union always acts as a bridge between young scientists and management agencies, honoring young talents and spreading inspiration to young people.
"The proposal for a fund for young scientists under 35 years old is a breakthrough idea, the Central Youth Union will study the proposal," said Mr. Huy.
Sharing, Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Pham Duy Trang said that from 6 to 15 years old is the golden age for children to approach and nurture their passion for scientific research. Therefore, for many years, the Youth Union and the Youth Union Council at all levels have had playgrounds to help students nurture their dreams and aspirations, form scientific thinking, and passion for research...
The theme not only mentions the mission of each young person in their position but also the mission in the face of issues raised by the nation and country, to clearly see the pioneering role in the new era.

Vietnamese Youth: Entrepreneurial imprint, bravery on the internet
Believing that there is a lot of bad information on the internet that attacks young people, Captain Le Thi Lan Van ( Quang Tri ) hopes that the Union will take action to help young people avoid that information.
From the Ho Chi Minh City bridge, student Huynh Anh Thu (Nguyen Du Secondary School) said that team members and students really need to be equipped with skills in cyberspace.
In the discussion, Mr. Bui Quang Huy said that the Youth Union at all levels needs to increase the resistance of young people in cyberspace, proactively provide information to young people, and green the mainstream information flow in cyberspace.
"The more good news there is, the more it overwhelms the bad and toxic information, so it is necessary to develop the Union's digital communication network," said Mr. Huy.
In the "popular digital education" movement deployed by the Central Youth Union, Mr. Huy said that each young person needs to be equipped with the skills to use digital devices and support those around them. Thereby, a team is formed to support people in "popular digital education", creating a data warehouse and learning materials to help young people in remote areas access.
Tran Thuy Nhi (Ninh Binh) said that applying creative technology to startups is a challenge for young people. While KOL Khoai Lang Thang said that there are opportunities and challenges at any time, artificial intelligence (AI) is a new challenge and young people need to have easier access to AI.
Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam said that recently and in the near future, the Central Youth Union and the Association will continue to have many activities and solutions to support young people starting businesses, from knowledge support, capital connection, investment funds to output.
Accompany and inspire young people
Some influential young people, KOLs, share ideas and want the Union to truly be a companion, inspiring young people. Union officials need to be "digital warriors" contributing to spreading information to young people.
To do so requires each Youth Union official to improve, promptly grasp the needs of youth union members, and know how to apply digital technology to work more effectively in the current trend of streamlining the apparatus.
Every young person is a Vietnamese cultural ambassador.
Nguyen Hai Anh, President of the Vietnamese Students' Association in Ireland, a new Student Association established in 2024, asked about specific directions and creating conditions for Vietnamese youth abroad to connect and actively participate in the Association's activities and contribute to their homeland and country.

On this issue, Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Minh Triet shared 4 issues:
Regarding orientation for the young generation of Vietnamese living and working abroad, I have the following to share:
1. Preserve and promote national cultural identity: Living and studying in an international environment, always remember your roots, preserve the traditions and cultural values of the nation. Be proud of your homeland and spread the beautiful image of Vietnamese people to the world.
2. Actively connect and participate in community activities: Participating in Student Association organizations, solidarity activities, and exchanges between Vietnamese students at the place where you study will help you have the opportunity to develop yourself, learn more skills and build a support network when facing difficulties.
3. Study seriously, develop your career: Take learning seriously, cultivate professional knowledge and soft skills. Because this is the solid foundation to help you succeed in the future.
At the same time, take advantage of the opportunity to study in developed countries to absorb the best and experience in work and life.
4. Show responsibility for the homeland: Every Vietnamese person abroad is a cultural ambassador, a person who conveys the good values of Vietnam. Wherever you are, you need to make an effort to contribute to the overall development of the country. Small actions in the community where you live, or participating in programs to support domestic students are all meaningful contributions.
