Movie "Love in Vietnam" - Love at first sight
Directed by Rahhat Shah Kazmi (India) and produced by Captain Rahul Bali, Love in Vietnam tells a romantic love story while introducing the beauty of Vietnam's nature, culture and people through a modern, youthful perspective. The film features a cast of famous actors from both countries, including Kha Ngan (Vietnam), Avneet Kaur and Shantanu Maheshwari (India).
The film was filmed in many famous locations in Vietnam, including Da Lat, Da Nang, Hoi An, Phu Yen , Nha Trang and Ha Long... The main setting was in Da Lat. In addition, the scenes of the central coast along with the majestic scenery of Ha Long created a vivid and colorful cinematic picture.
The film is screened in the Asian Film Competition Category, starring Kim Hye Eun, a star who has appeared in films such as Itaewon Class or Twenty Five Twenty One...
The film received active support from diplomatic agencies and local authorities in Vietnam during the production process, through facilitating infrastructure, procedures, and human resources for the film industry. This is also the result of implementing the Film Crew Attraction Index (PAI) developed by the Vietnam Association for the Promotion of Cinema Development since 2023.
In addition to Love in Vietnam , DANAFF III will also be the world or international premiere of many international films among the nearly 100 films from many Asian cinemas. In the Asian Film category, Family Secrets (Korea) starring Kim Hye Eun, the star of Itaewon Class and Twenty Five Twenty One is notable . Japanese film How to Forget You by Yu Sakudo, which won an award at Venice, promises to bring emotional depth.

Other highlights include The Father (Mongolia), a touching journey of a father through three decades, and Out of Order (Philippines), a thriller rich in drama. In addition, in the Asian Cinema Panorama program, the audience will enjoy two Korean films My Friend is a Murderer and Extreme Family , along with many Japanese works such as Lotus Kitchen , Mommy , Souzoku , The Blue Lion .
The films will be screened for free at Le Do, CGV, Galaxy and Lotte Da Nang cinemas from June 29. Audiences will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with famous directors and actors attending DANAFF III.
