Following public and social media feedback regarding irregularities in the 10th grade entrance exam scores in Thai Binh province, the Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Inspectorate to conduct an unscheduled inspection of the implementation of policies, laws, duties, and powers of the Department of Education and Training, the Director of the Department of Education and Training, and related organizations and individuals in organizing the 10th grade entrance exam.

The Department of Internal Affairs is tasked with coordinating with relevant units to advise the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for consideration and decision on temporarily suspending Mr. Nguyen Viet Hien, Director of the Department of Education and Training, from his duties to facilitate the inspection in accordance with the law.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province requested the Police and the Department of Information and Communications to assign qualified and competent officials to participate in the inspection in accordance with the provisions of the 2024 Inspection Law.
