Demolition of illegal 2-storey wooden house on agricultural land in Kinh Mon

The 2-storey wooden house project of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Chien's family violated the law on former agricultural land.

The project is currently being dismantled.

According to the family's wishes, Mr. Chien hired workers to dismantle each part to limit damage to the columns, wooden roof, floor, and ceiling. The 2-storey wooden house of Mr. Chien's family was built in 2020 at Ly Bet field in Xa Son village, Quang Thanh commune. In the photo: All the doors around the house and the walls around the first floor have been dismantled.

Household items have been moved by the family, the remaining heavy decorative items are neatly arranged, waiting for a crane to be hired to transport them.

Many workers are focusing on removing the wooden floor on the second floor.

Immediately after receiving the press's feedback and the province's direction, on April 5, Kinh Mon Town People's Committee directed Quang Thanh Commune People's Committee and specialized agencies of the town to inspect and handle violations in the field of land and irrigation works corridors in Quang Thanh Commune. Quang Thanh Commune People's Committee requested Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Chien to dismantle the illegal constructions on agricultural land. Due to the large amount of furniture in the house and difficulty in arranging living space, Mr. Chien committed to dismantling the illegal construction of the 2-storey wooden house from April 10 and completing it before May 31.
