With the viewpoint: Listening, accompanying businesses to overcome difficulties; continuing to improve the investment environment in Ha Nam , on the afternoon of November 21, the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board organized a meeting with Taiwanese (Chinese) enterprises investing in industrial parks in the province. Mr. Luu Tran Son, Head of the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board chaired the conference. Attending the conference were representatives of the Ha Nam Electricity Company, infrastructure investors, service providers in industrial parks and nearly 40 enterprises from Taiwan.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Luu Tran Son, Head of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, affirmed: Taiwan is currently a major investor, leading in the number of projects as well as total investment capital in the area. Typical investors are AVC; Wistron (Dong Van III Industrial Park); Qisda (Dong Van IV Industrial Park)... With the desire to best serve businesses in the industrial parks; especially businesses from Taiwan, at this conference, the Industrial Park Management Board will continue to listen to suggestions and recommendations, promptly removing difficulties for businesses.

According to the Report of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, by October 31, 2024, the province's industrial parks had attracted 362 FDI projects, with a total investment capital of 6.27 billion USD. Of which, 89 projects were related to China, with a total investment capital of more than 2.5 billion USD. Taiwan alone accounted for 54 projects, with a total capital of 2.19 billion USD; Mainland China had 16 projects and Hong Kong 19 projects... In 2023, Chinese, Taiwanese, and Hong Kong enterprises contributed 184.2 billion VND to the state budget (73 billion VND from Taiwan alone).

At the conference, representatives of enterprises: Wistron; AVC (Dong Van III Industrial Park); Risuntek (Dong Van IV Industrial Park); Asean Aluminum; Tonghe Vina (Chau Son Industrial Park)... acknowledged the positive changes in the investment environment of Ha Nam; at the same time, they raised a number of difficulties and obstacles in the investment, production and business process of enterprises in the provincial industrial parks, such as: traffic safety issues in industrial parks; housing for workers; labor recruitment... Enterprises hope that the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board will continue to support, remove difficulties, and create favorable conditions for enterprises to invest, expand and develop production and business...

Concluding the conference, Mr. Luu Tran Son, Head of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, said: In 2024, Ha Nam will continue to receive attention from the Government . With advantages in infrastructure, convenient transportation and an open and flexible investment environment, Ha Nam will become the industrial center of Vietnam. Currently, many Taiwanese and Chinese enterprises have come to learn about the investment environment in Ha Nam.

In the coming time, the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board will actively coordinate to remove the above difficulties and obstacles, creating all favorable conditions for enterprises that have, are and will invest in Ha Nam to receive the best services; especially in the fields of environmental resources, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting and labor recruitment.
