Change the time of publication of data on some important statistical indicators

ĐNO - The City Statistics Office said that the Government has issued Decree No. 62/2024/ND-CP dated June 7, 2024 amending and supplementing a number of articles and appendices of Decree No. 94/2016/ND-CP dated July 1, 2016 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Statistics and Decree No. 94/2022/ND-CP dated November 7, 2022 of the Government stipulating the content of statistical indicators under the national statistical indicator system and the process of compiling gross domestic product indicators and gross product indicators in provinces and centrally run cities.

Accordingly, the content of the decree changes the time for disseminating the monthly, quarterly, 6-month, 9-month and annual Socio-Economic Reports from "the 29th of the reporting month (except February which is the last day of the month)" to "the 6th of the month following the reporting period".

The purpose is to ensure the collection and compilation of statistical information that accurately, completely and truly reflects the nature of a reporting period, especially the monthly reporting period, to accurately and promptly serve the Party, Government, Prime Minister and authorities at all levels in management and administration.

At the same time, the Statistics Office has enough time to check, synthesize data, and compile specialized reports to help improve the quality of statistical reports.

The City Statistics Office also issued Decision No. 59/QD-CTK on adjusting the 2024 Statistical Information Dissemination Schedule.

On that basis, many indicators of the provincial statistical indicator system have their publication time adjusted to be consistent with the national statistical indicator system and in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 62/2024/ND-CP.
