The Brazilian striker has played for nearly 5 years in the V.League for Hanoi FC, Da Nang FC and most recently Hai Phong FC. Standing at 1m84 tall and with an ideal physique, the striker born in 1991 has the ability to press, fight in the air and shoot in a variety of ways in the penalty area.
In the recent V.League 2024/2025, Lucao was one of the 3 players leading the scoring list with 14 goals (equal to Alan of Hanoi Police Football Club and Tien Linh of Becamex Binh Duong Club). According to statistics, the Brazilian player contributed 48% of the total goals of Hai Phong Club (29 goals).

Meanwhile, coach Velizar Popov said Lucao is the piece that the army team has been waiting for: “We need a striker who can take advantage of opportunities, put pressure on the opponent’s defense and has experience in the V.League. Lucao meets all those factors. He not only has the ability to score goals but also plays well as a team player, knows how to coordinate and has good tactical thinking. I believe Lucao will help us solve the problem of finishing and open up many new attacking options.”
With the successful recruitment of a striker like Lucao, the offensive strength of The Cong - Viettel will be significantly enhanced. The above move took place when the army of coach Velizar Popov will compete with the Hanoi Police Football Club in the Semi-finals of the 2024/2025 National Cup.
The match between Hanoi Police Football Club and The Cong-Viettel Club will take place at 7:15 p.m. on June 26 at Hang Day Stadium.
