Another commune in Dak Nong reaches the advanced new rural area finish line

On May 12, the People's Committee of Dak R'lap district (Dak Nong) held a ceremony to announce the decision to recognize Dak Ru commune as meeting advanced NTM standards.

In 2011, Dak Ru commune started building a new rural area. The implementation process gradually mobilized people's strength, effectively exploited state resources and socialized resources.

Representative of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dak Nong province presented the decision to recognize Dak Ru commune, Dak R'lap district as meeting advanced NTM standards.

Up to now, 100% of the commune's main roads and inter-village roads have been asphalted or concreted; nearly 88% of alleys have been hardened, ensuring convenient traffic.

The commune has 6/6 schools meeting the standards in terms of facilities, the rate of students attending class is 100%. Over 97% of households in the commune have solid houses, no more temporary, dilapidated houses.

Dak R'lap district (Dak Nong) rewards individuals with achievements in building new rural areas in Dak Ru commune in recent times.

The national grid system is widely covered, the rate of households using safe electricity is 98%. Cultural institutions such as communal halls, village cultural houses, sports grounds, and children's playgrounds are invested synchronously, creating a rich space for community cultural activities.

The average income per capita of the commune in 2024 will reach 67.2 million VND, an increase of nearly 10 million VND compared to 2023. The commune's poverty rate is 1.7%; near-poor households are 2.97%; the multidimensional poverty rate is only 4.67%.

Representatives of departments, branches, organizations and people attended the announcement ceremony.

The commune has completed 19/19 advanced NTM criteria. This is the third commune in Dak R'lap district to achieve advanced NTM standards. Dak Ru commune is continuing to consolidate the achieved criteria and aiming to build a model NTM commune in the coming time.
