According to Nguyen Van Hung, Director of the Long An Investment and Construction Project Management Board, as of November 20, 2025, the section from the DT830 intersection to Nguyen Van Nham road is being implemented by two consortiums of contractors. On the left side of the route, the Nui Hong - Tan Nam - 622 consortium has completed the concrete surface of the An Thanh bridge, constructed the embankment with red sand and gravel, and ensured traffic safety, with a completion value of 56.24%. On the right side of the route, the Cau 14 - DV&TM 68 - Thang Loi consortium has achieved 49.5% completion.
The section from Nguyen Van Nham Street to National Highway 1 is also under simultaneous construction. On the left side of the route, the IDICO - An Hoa Joint Venture is constructing cement-soil piles, reinforcing sand embankment, sand filling, red gravel and crushed stone aggregate filling, and drainage system, with the value of work completed reaching 38.36%. On the right side of the route, the LH E&C and BMT Joint Venture is constructing cement-soil piles, reinforcing sand embankment, sand filling, red gravel aggregate filling, precast components, drainage system, and traffic safety measures, with the value of work completed reaching 48.38%.
Land clearance for the project, with a total investment of over 2,494 billion VND, is being implemented from 2021 to 2025. To date, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center (Ben Luc Branch) has paid compensation to 822 out of 878 cases, totaling 1,488.46/1,636.96 billion VND, with 38.53/40.16 hectares handed over. However, 56 households (covering 1.63 hectares) have not yet received compensation, totaling 154.5 billion VND, due to disagreements over compensation rates, requests for full compensation for land and houses, or requests for resettlement.
“As of November 20th, the total length of land yet to be handed over is approximately 950m/4,500m, mainly concentrated in 7 locations: the intersection of DT830 (An Thanh commune); the location of pillars T7-T8 and the access road to abutment M2; the intersection of Phuoc Tu road; the intersection of DT830C; the section from Km4+580 to Km4+800; the section from Km4+760 to Km5+160; and the intersection with National Highway 1,” Mr. Nguyen Van Hung informed.
The delay in land clearance has resulted in a lack of coordinated implementation. Furthermore, recently, some contract packages have been affected by prolonged rainy and stormy weather and a shortage of stone materials.
Currently, the province is making efforts to resolve obstacles and accelerate the progress of the DT830E project. Based on this, the Long An Investment and Construction Project Management Board is actively urging contractors to adhere to the contract schedule; coordinating with the People's Committees of My Yen and Ben Luc communes to encourage households that have received compensation to hand over the land early. The Provincial Land Fund Development Center is tasked with urgently completing the infrastructure of the resettlement area to accommodate eligible households.
