Contestants of the "I am a radio announcer for the third time" contest visit the President Ton Duc Thang Memorial Site

On the morning of August 16, contestants of the 3rd "I am a Radio Announcer" Contest in 2025, organized by An Giang Newspaper and Radio - Television, had a meaningful field trip to the Memorial Site of President Ton Duc Thang, My Hoa Hung Commune (An Giang Province).

At the memorial area, the students were introduced to the life and great revolutionary career of Uncle Ton. Each artifact and image was carefully displayed, helping the candidates visualize more clearly the working childhood and the arduous, but also very proud revolutionary activities of the beloved President .

The delegation observed a moment of silence, listening to the life and career of President Ton Duc Thang.

Contestants of the "I am a radio announcer for the third time" contest listen to explanations of artifacts at the exhibition house introducing the life and career of Uncle Ton.

Contestant Pham Duy Uyen (11 years old) expressed his delight at the green and peaceful scenery of the memorial site. “This trip is very useful. I not only learned history through books but also witnessed and heard real stories. This helps me understand more deeply and love my homeland and country more,” Duy Uyen shared.

The delegation took souvenir photos at President Ton Duc Thang Memorial Area.

On this occasion, the contestants of the "I am a radio announcer for the third time" contest also had the opportunity to interact with Brigade 962, Military Region 9.

This is one of the official activities of the contest, aiming to enrich the historical and cultural knowledge of the students, and at the same time create opportunities for the contestants to exchange.
