In Ninh Phuoc hamlet, the house under construction of Mrs. Trinh Ngoc Anh, the daughter of a martyr, is entering the completion stage. For many years, Mrs. Anh's family has lived in a level 4 house that has seriously degraded. With the support of 60 million VND from the Program to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses and the Project to Support People with Meritorious Services in Housing of the province, along with the contribution of relatives, her family has built a spacious house.
“My previous house was makeshift, leaky and hot. Now that the government has supported me, I am very happy. Now that I have a stable house, I will try to do business and raise livestock to improve my life,” Ms. Anh emotionally shared.

Showing their gratitude, the youth of Ninh Quoi commune have promoted the spirit of volunteerism, accompanying the housing construction program for policy families. The support team was established with nearly 30 members of the Youth Union. They did not mind the sun or rain, enthusiastically participated, and supported working days for policy households facing difficulties, from dismantling old houses, transporting materials, to bricklaying, filling foundations..., contributing significantly to shortening the time to build houses, saving costs for families.
Mrs. Pham Thi Deo (Ninh Chai hamlet) is the daughter of a martyr. Her house is in a state of disrepair and floods every time it rains. She received support from the local authorities to build a new house, which is now nearly completed. She choked up as she shared: “I am very happy to receive 60 million VND to build a new house. Especially, the Youth Union members came to help with their labor, I feel warm inside.”
Ms. Dao Thi Nga, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, acting Secretary of the Commune Youth Union, said: "Promoting the role of youth, the Youth Union of the commune actively contributes to support families with preferential policies, both helping to speed up the construction progress and saving costs. That is also the way we express our deep gratitude to families with preferential policies and people with meritorious services to the revolution."

According to the People's Committee of Ninh Quoi Commune, the whole commune has 267 households of meritorious people and relatives of martyrs in need of housing support. Thanks to funding from the provincial program for the period 2023-2025, the locality has so far completed the construction of 202 houses, the remaining 65 houses are being accelerated, striving to be completed before July 24, 2025.
Mr. Le Van Dang, Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, said that the Party Committee and the Commune People's Committee have established teams to appraise and inspect the construction progress, ensuring compliance with the "3 hard" construction criteria. At the same time, they have assigned cadres and party members to be in charge of each household, introducing people to reputable material suppliers for purchase; and establishing shock teams to support households in difficulty. "We always pay attention and closely monitor each stage so that the project is completed on schedule and ensures quality," Mr. Dang emphasized.
The houses of gratitude in Ninh Quoi have been and are being built with a deep meaning of gratitude, helping families of policy beneficiaries feel warmed by the care of the Party, the State and the sharing of the community, and have more motivation to rise up in life. Supporting housing for revolutionary families and relatives of meritorious people is not simply a social security program , but also a way to spread humanistic values, the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the nation./.
