Study hard and train diligently.
Competing in learning and following Uncle Ho's teachings, striving to do many good deeds every day is the mindset of many students and Young Pioneers in the province. Comrade Nguyen Thanh Luan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: “The Provincial Young Pioneer Council has effectively directed the implementation of activities to create an environment and conditions for children to develop and enhance their creative thinking abilities, such as organizing educational and experiential STEM activities; effectively implementing the "Creative and Experiential Recess" model, integrating it with other science subjects; and encouraging children to actively participate in science competitions such as "I Love Science," "Young Informatics," and "Young Innovators." The Young Pioneer teams regularly launch academic emulation movements such as: "Good Grades," "Clean Notebooks and Beautiful Handwriting," "Improving Handwriting, Cultivating Good Character," and intellectual competitions like "Ringing the Golden Bell," "Road to Olympia," online math competitions, online English competitions, solving exam questions from newspapers, and online Vietnamese language competitions...
Continuing the emulation movement "Building friendly schools, active students," 100% of the Youth Union branches in the province have coordinated with subject teachers to organize folk games and outdoor activities related to subjects such as Geography, Biology, History, etc., as well as extracurricular educational activities and Youth Union meetings. In addition, the Youth Union branches guide children to regularly maintain a clean and beautiful environment; plant and protect flower gardens through clubs like "I love green trees," "Youth Union flower gardens and plant beds," and the movement "Keeping my school green, clean, and beautiful." Movements such as "Two friends progressing together," "Helping friends go to school," "Friend helping friend," "Overcoming difficulties to study well," and various clubs, teams, and study groups contribute to promoting initiative, creativity, and emphasizing the role of self-study, self-cultivation, self-improvement, and mutual support for progress.
The Provincial Youth Union Council has directed the Youth Union Councils at all levels to create an environment for children to practice the teachings of "Love the Fatherland, love your fellow citizens" by innovating and diversifying the forms of organizing activities to propagate and educate children about the history and traditions of the nation; organizing children to participate in activities of "Paying gratitude and showing appreciation" and "Remembering the source of the water you drink". At the same time, they maintain the thematic activities "One beautiful story, one shining example, one good book each week"...
Multiply a thousand good deeds
“Children should do small things, according to their abilities…”, that was President Ho Chi Minh's advice to Vietnamese children and teenagers. Among the outstanding achievements that children throughout the province offered to President Ho Chi Minh, the achievements in the “Thousand Good Deeds” movement cannot be overlooked. The Youth Union at all levels has educated children in courage, honesty in their studies, activities, and daily lives, and in compassion and sharing, by diversifying activities and forums such as: Building beautiful friendships, saying no to school violence; Speaking kind words, doing good deeds; You're doing a good job... The "Small Plan" movement continues to be maintained and implemented in the youth groups to educate members and children to actively participate in social activities, to be mindful of saving, protecting the environment, and sharing with friends through forms such as: building "Red Scarf" houses, collecting scrap paper, saving money in piggy banks, creating "compassionate rice jars," and building clean vegetable gardens... contributing to the construction of youth projects at all levels and building the youth group fund at the grassroots level.
The Provincial Youth Union Council continues to organize educational activities and flag-raising ceremonies with the theme "One beautiful story, one good book, one shining example each week," regularly promoting examples of heroic and courageous children in history, and exemplary individuals in contemporary life; helping children avoid negative influences, educating and guiding them towards positive values such as: politeness and filial piety towards grandparents and parents; being friendly and kind to friends... Through this, they are educated to strive for self-improvement in their studies and lives to become good children, good students, and good grandchildren of Uncle Ho. In addition, the Youth Union's educational methods are implemented in diverse ways through various media channels, books, newspapers, and literary works to contribute to creating a cultural environment that helps children develop good character, nurture their dreams, and aspire to succeed in life.
The five teachings of President Ho Chi Minh are valuable lessons and also the goals that generations of children and teenagers strive for. This movement not only encourages children and teenagers to study actively but also guides them to proactively learn about the nation's historical traditions and perfect their morals, intellect, physical abilities, and aesthetics. Therefore, in the coming time, the Provincial Youth Union Council will promote the implementation with many rich and diverse contents and forms to further enhance the effectiveness of this movement.
