Children in Quang Ninh follow the five teachings of Uncle Ho.

"Vietnamese children emulating the five teachings of Uncle Ho" is a major, continuous movement in the work program of the Youth Union and the children's movement nationwide. In Quang Ninh, the movement has been widely implemented with many creative and practical approaches; creating an environment for Youth Union members and children to train and strive to become good children, good students, good Youth Union members, and good grandchildren of Uncle Ho; contributing to spreading the good values ​​and aspirations of today's young generation.

The Quang Ninh Provincial Youth and Children's Cultural Center is organizing the "Children Telling Stories about Uncle Ho" competition in 2025.

Through the promotion of the "Quang Ninh Children Competing to Follow the Five Teachings of Uncle Ho" movement, more and more exemplary young Pioneers and youth members have emerged in their studies, training, and Pioneer activities. Recently, the Central Pioneer Council announced the results of the Kim Dong Award for the 2025-2026 school year, honoring 98 outstanding Pioneer leaders and members nationwide. Among them, Quang Ninh has three Pioneer leaders who were honored with the award: Ninh Nguyen Gia Han, class 9A, Ba Che Ethnic Boarding School; Dao Duc Anh, class 5A6, Dam Ha Primary School; and Bui Vu Gia Linh, class 6A2, Trong Diem Secondary School. Not only have they achieved outstanding academic results, but they are also enthusiastic and responsible in Pioneer activities and children's movements, serving as shining examples for other Pioneers to follow.

To cultivate exemplary young role models, the Youth Union at all levels throughout the province has continuously innovated its content and methods of operation, effectively implementing the movement "Quang Ninh Children Compete to Follow the Five Teachings of Uncle Ho" in conjunction with programs such as "Vietnamese Children - Study Well, Train Diligently," and "Vietnamese Youth - Cultivating Virtue and Talent, Leading the Future"... At the same time, it has focused on educating members and children on ethics and lifestyle through branch meetings with themes such as "Speaking Kind Words, Doing Good Deeds," and "One Beautiful Story, One Good Book, One Bright Example Each Week"... Through this, it has created a vibrant and practical emulation movement, making the study and application of the Five Teachings of Uncle Ho a continuous content in the Youth Union's activities, contributing to the comprehensive development of members and children in "Morality - Intellect - Physicality - Aesthetics."

The Provincial Youth Union presented gifts to disadvantaged students in Duong Hoa commune at the launching ceremony of Youth Month 2026.

To create an environment for children to practice the teachings of "Good learning, good work," in addition to effectively implementing movements such as "Two friends progressing together," "Good grades," and "Clean notebooks and beautiful handwriting," and maintaining 540 learning clubs and 395 skills clubs, the Youth Union at all levels also focuses on developing creative thinking for its members and children through many beneficial experiential activities such as STEM education, competitions like "I love science ," "Young informatics," and "Youth and children's creativity"... From these, children are encouraged to improve their foreign language skills, information technology skills, and international integration skills. In particular, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Children's Council have implemented the model of "Reading, interaction, and Youth Union activity spaces" in localities. To date, 13 out of 20 models have been completed and put into use, creating a positive learning environment, helping children form a reading habit, and nurturing their dreams and aspirations.

Alongside this, meaningful humanitarian movements such as "Small Plans," "A Thousand Good Deeds," and fundraising to help disadvantaged children continue to be implemented, creating a widespread impact and contributing to the cultivation of moral values ​​and a beautiful lifestyle for young members. In the first semester of the 2025-2026 school year, the Youth Union branches throughout the province awarded 2,460 scholarships to support disadvantaged children with a total value of nearly 1.2 billion VND.

At the same time, all levels of the Youth Union in the province are stepping up propaganda and education for children to raise their awareness of law compliance, safe traffic participation, drug prevention, social evils and school violence, contributing to building a safe, civilized and disciplined school environment.

Through practical emulation movements and daily good deeds, more and more young people in Quang Ninh are shining brightly in the garden of exemplary children of Uncle Ho, continuously nurturing a generation of young sprouts who are comprehensively developed, full of aspirations to excel, and possess a sense of responsibility towards the community.
