On the afternoon of November 27, the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the Secretariat's decision on personnel work.
Accordingly, on October 30, the Secretariat signed a decision to transfer Major General Vu Hong Van - Member of the Central Inspection Commission , Director of the Department of Internal Political Security, Ministry of Public Security to work at the Central Inspection Commission .
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister To Lam emphasized that, based on the requirements of the Central Inspection Commission and the consolidation of the specialized inspection and supervision agency of the Central Executive Committee, the 8th Conference of the 13th Party Central Executive Committee elected 3 additional members of the Central Inspection Commission, including Major General Vu Hong Van.
Major General Vu Hong Van delivered a speech at the ceremony.
The leaders of the Ministry of Public Security assessed that during 28 years of work, Major General Vu Hong Van always demonstrated pure moral qualities, steadfast ideological stance; always upheld the spirit of responsibility, dedication, and effort, overcame difficulties and challenges, excellently fulfilled assigned duties and tasks, and was trusted by the collective.
Based on work requirements, qualities and capacity of cadres, the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security unanimously reported to the Central Executive Committee for confidence in electing Major General Vu Hong Van as a member of the Central Inspection Commission, term XIII.
Major General Vu Hong Van was born in 1976, from Hung Yen. He was the Deputy Political Commissar of the Mobile Police Command (Ministry of Public Security).
In June 2018, Major General Vu Hong Van was appointed Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police. In November 2019, he was transferred to become Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police.
On July 1, 2022, Major General Vu Hong Van was appointed Director of the Department of Internal Political Security.
