According to the special correspondent of the Vietnam News Agency, within the framework of the State visit of General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and to attend the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea (October 10, 1945 - October 10, 2025), on the afternoon of October 10, local time, the signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) took place in the capital Pyongyang.
The cooperation agreement signed by VNA Director General Vu Viet Trang and KCNA Chairman Kim Pyong Ho aims to deepen and expand bilateral cooperation, promote joint cooperation, especially information exchange between the two national news agencies.
The two sides signed a cooperation agreement with the aim of formalizing the comprehensive cooperation framework between VNA and KCNA in the fields of information exchange, exchange of leaders and reporters of each side, and expanding appropriate multilateral cooperation.
Regarding information exchange, the two parties provide each other free of charge the right to receive English news services, photo news with English captions and on topics of interest to each party, according to the capabilities of the providing party.
