The first village in the province meets smart new rural standards

On February 29, the People's Committee of Hoa Dong commune (Tay Hoa district) held a ceremony to announce Vinh Ba village meeting smart new rural standards in 2023.

 

Vinh Ba village is located in the west of Hoa Dong commune; the whole village has 904 households with 2,800 people. In 2021, this village reached the model new rural area. Promoting the achieved results, Vinh Ba is the first village in the province to be selected to build a smart new rural area. By the end of 2023, the village had achieved 7/7 criteria and was recognized by the People's Committee of Tay Hoa district as meeting the smart new rural area standards.

 

Currently, 100% of households in the village have internet infrastructure and 3G/4G mobile information; 86.65% of people of working age have skills to use online public services and essential digital services, 77.72% of people have electronic payment accounts. Political security, social order and safety are maintained and strengthened, in the village, 7 security camera systems are installed on the roads.

 

In agricultural production, in 2023, villagers implemented a model of rice production using drones on an area of ​​20 hectares of rice; the average income per capita to date has reached more than 62.5 million VND/person/year...

 

On this occasion, the leaders of Tay Hoa District People's Committee awarded a certificate of recognition for Vinh Ba village meeting the smart new rural standards in 2023, and presented 100 million VND to officials and people in the village; Hoa Dong Commune People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 4 individuals of Vinh Ba village with outstanding achievements in building the village to meet the smart new rural standards.
