Notice of update of terms and conditions for registration and use of VietinBank eFAST

Dear Customers!

VietinBank respectfully announces that from October 25, 2024, VietinBank will update the "Terms and conditions for registration and use of VietinBank eFAST Digital Banking Service" as follows:

“4.4. In case the personal identification information of a VietinBank eFAST user changes (including information on citizen identification number/ID/passport/date of issue, expiration date, place of issue) and this information has been updated or changed by that individual at VietinBank, the VietinBank eFAST user is authorized by the legal representative of the organization to proactively change or update his/her personal identification information registered on VietinBank eFAST in accordance with the updated or changed information of that individual stored at the VietinBank system. The personal information stored by VietinBank must ensure that the identification documents and biometric information are correctly matched with: (i) Biometric data stored in the encrypted information storage unit of the citizen identification card or the identity of that person has been accurately authenticated as being issued by the Public Security agency or through authentication of that person's electronic identification account by the System electronic identification and authentication; or (ii) Biometric data collected through a face-to-face meeting with that person in the case of a foreigner who does not use an electronic identity, a person of Vietnamese origin whose nationality has not been determined; or (iii) Biometric data has been collected and checked (ensuring the correct match between that person's biometric data and the biometric data in the encrypted information storage part of the citizen identification card or the identity card has been accurately authenticated as being issued by the Public Security agency or with that person's biometric data through authentication of the electronic identification account created by the Electronic Identification and Authentication System); or (iv) That person's biometric data is stored in the National Population Database in the case of using a citizen identification card that does not have an encrypted information storage part".
