OPPO A78 4G has a body made of solid metal, measuring 160.1 x 73.2 x 7.93mm, weighing about 180 grams. The left side contains the volume rocker, while the right side contains the power button. The bottom edge has the presence of a USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, speaker and microphone.

A78 4G uses Snapdragon 680 chipset, comes with 8GB RAM, 128GB internal memory, users can expand storage capacity via microSD card slot.

The product has a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen, supports Full-HD + resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), 90Hz refresh rate and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
