Specifically, TASS news agency cited the results of a poll conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center published on April 7, saying that when asked about their trust in Mr. Putin, 80.4% of those surveyed answered yes (down 0.1% in 1 week).
Meanwhile, the Russian President's job approval rating remains the same as last week's survey results, at 77.9%.
Also according to the poll results, a total of 55.2% of respondents said they approved of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin's work (up 0.7% in 1 week) while the rate of approval of the Russian Government's work was 53.8% (up 1%).
63.7% of respondents said they trust Mr. Mishustin (up 0.3% compared to the previous survey results).
Those polled also expressed their trust in the heads of different parties in the Russian Parliament.
Specifically, the leader of the Communist Party of Russia (CPRF) Gennady Zyuganov was trusted by 34.6% of respondents (up 2.1%) while Mr. Sergey Mironov, leader of the Just Russia party, received the support of 32.9% of respondents (up 1%).
The survey was conducted from March 27 to April 2, 2023, with the participation of 1,600 people aged 16 and over.
