On July 31, the Department of Trade Promotion, Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Document No. 2425/XTTM-HTXT, sent to Industry and Trade Newspaper and media agencies about information related to the Fair of OCOP export products (VIETNAM OCOPEX 2025).
According to the document, this is a trade promotion event within the framework of the National Trade Promotion Program, chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , Hanoi People's Committee and the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.
The fair will take place at Thang Long Imperial Citadel (19C Hoang Dieu, Hanoi ) from August 1-3.
The event was hosted by the Trade Promotion Agency, in coordination with the Central Office for New Rural Development Coordination and the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade.
The Department of Trade Promotion said that currently on social networks there is a lot of information about appointing an ambassador for the program.
"Up to now, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has not appointed/used any individual as the program's ambassador and has not allowed any coordinating agency or organization to carry out the above," the Trade Promotion Agency affirmed.
Previously, on his personal page with more than 895,000 followers, Pham Thoai posted an article and video announcing that he was "honored to take on the role of ambassador for the Top Agricultural Products - Agricultural Products to the City program (VIETNAM OCOPEX 2025).
"It is an honor to take on the role of the Top Agricultural Products - Agricultural Products to the City Program VIETNAM OCOPEX 2025 organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment...", Pham Thoai wrote.
Based on the official content in Document No. 2425/XTTM-HTXT of the Department of Trade Promotion, it can be affirmed that the information published by Pham Thoai is completely untrue.
