Recently, information about this phone has been revealed. According to leaker Jukanlosreve, Samsung's low-cost flip phone is called Galaxy Z Flip FE. The device will be powered by the Exynos 2400 SoC - equipped on the standard Galaxy S24.
Earlier, during a Q3 earnings call, a Samsung executive hinted at a low-cost foldable phone, so it's likely the company is working on making foldable devices more accessible to consumers.
The Galaxy FE devices usually have high-end specifications at a mid-range price. Gizmochina in its report also mentioned that the Galaxy Z Flip FE and Galaxy Z Fold FE will launch with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip.
The report also reveals that the two devices may launch with Exynos chipsets in certain markets. Previous rumors also suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip FE could be a toned-down version of the high-end Galaxy Z Flip6.
