The Pet Festival is held annually at Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11, Ho Chi Minh City). This is a community-oriented program through fundraising from the beautiful dog and cat contest.
On July 30, the program took place with more than 3,000 dogs and cats from all over Ho Chi Minh City participating.

Both a playground and a quality competition for dogs and cats, this program has 5 competitions, including a specialized competition for Bully and French Bull dogs, a pet fashion competition and a competition for beautiful dogs and cats.
Competition for Bully and French Bull breeds
This is the fourth time the event has been held. Mr. Doan Minh Thuan - President of the Vietnam Show Dog Kennel Club, representative of the Organizing Committee, said that each participating animal will pay a fee of 79,000 VND.
Bully and French Bull won prizes in the specialized competition for Bully and French Bull breeds.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung's French Bull won first prize in the specialized competition for Bully and French Bull breeds.
The Bully "dogs" are competing for the Bully and French Bull breeds, the female dog round.
The female Bully dog named Authentic owned by Mr. Luyen Nguyen (Bien Hoa City) weighs 15 kg and won a high prize in the competition for Bully and French Bull breeds in the round for female dogs.
"This is the first time the program has collected contest entry fees to raise money to support shelters for homeless dogs and cats. The program will donate 50,000 VND per animal to support these shelters," said Mr. Thuan.
For the first time bringing his pet to participate, Mr. Cao Dang Nguyen (Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City) prepared full nutrition and training for his pet, a 7-month-old French Bull dog.
Mr. Nguyen brought Boba, a 7-month-old French Bulldog, to the festival for the first time.
"Before the exam, I bathed my baby and fed him well" - Ms. Cam Nhung, living in Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City said.
Pets coming to Pet Day 2023 will interact with each other, play in the dog and cat play area and receive attractive gifts from pet product booths. Also in the program, pets will receive free health check-ups.
