According to the Drug Administration, Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 95/BC-KN dated April 4, 2023 of the Gia Lai Provincial Testing Center, enclosed with Test Certificate No. 92/KN-KT 2023 dated April 4, 2023 and related documents reporting the batch of Vaseline Vitamin E product - 50g bottle (Lot number: 251022; Manufacturing date: October 25, 2022; Expiry date: October 25, 2025); on the label is printed the information CB Number: 13966/22/CBMP-HN; Distributor and responsible for the product: KIMIKO Pharmaceutical Company Limited; address: No. 39, Lane 259/55, Phu Dien Street, Phu Dien Ward, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi City; Manufacturer: GOCIRCLE Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Joint Stock Company; Address: My Village, Cu Khe Commune, Thanh Oai District, Hanoi City.

The above cosmetic sample was taken by Gia Lai Provincial Testing Center at Long Chau 548 Pharmacy (address: 101 Dinh Tien Hoang, Pleiku City, Gia Lai Province) for quality testing. The sample did not meet the quality standards for mass uniformity.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam announces the suspension of circulation and nationwide recall of the product batch Vaseline Vitamin E - 50g bottle (Lot number: 251022; Manufacturing date: October 25, 2022; Expiry date: October 25, 2025); on the label is information CB number: 13966/22/CBMP-HN; Distributor and responsible for the product: KIMIKO Pharmaceutical Company Limited; address: No. 39, Lane 259/55, Phu Dien Street, Phu Dien Ward, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi City; Manufacturer: GOCIRCLE Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Joint Stock Company; address: My Village, Cu Khe Commune, Thanh Oai District, Hanoi City. Because the tested sample did not meet the quality standards for mass uniformity.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam requests the Department of Health of provinces and centrally-run cities to: Notify cosmetic businesses and users in the area to immediately stop selling and using the above batch of Vaseline Vitamin E - 50g bottle and return the product to the supplier;

Proceed to recall the above-mentioned batch of violating products; inspect and supervise units implementing this notice; handle violating units according to current regulations.

KIMIKO Pharmaceutical Company Limited, GOCIRCLE Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Joint Stock Company must: Send recall notices to distributors and users of the above batch of Vaseline Vitamin E - 50g bottle; Receive returned products from business establishments and recall the entire batch of products that do not meet regulations.

Send a recall report for the above batch of Vaseline Vitamin E - 50g bottle to the Department of Drug Administration before June 5, 2023.

At the same time, the Drug Administration also requested the Hanoi Department of Health to inspect KIMIKO Pharmaceutical Company Limited and GOCIRCLE Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Joint Stock Company in complying with the provisions of law on cosmetics management in the production and trading of cosmetics.

Monitor companies to recall batches of Vaseline Vitamin E - 50g bottles that do not meet regulations; Handle and penalize violations according to current regulations and report results to the Department of Drug Administration before June 25, 2023./.
