In the 2025 high school exam, Nguyen Tu Quyet, a 12A9 student at Nguyen Gia Thieu High School (Long Bien, Hanoi ) got a perfect score of 30.

Quyet is one of the 8 candidates with the highest exam scores in block A00 (math, physics, chemistry) and is the valedictorian with a perfect score of 10 in all 3 subjects.

It is worth mentioning that this is a traditional school with a long history in Hanoi city but is not located in the "core area" of the inner city and is not classified in the list of specialized schools and selective classes.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Ms. Dieu Huyen, homeroom teacher of class 12A9, said that, true to his name, Quyet is very independent and proactive in learning.

Quyet is at the top of his class in academic achievement with 3 years of excellent results. Not only is he good at natural sciences, he is also good at social sciences.

"Not only is he a good student, he is also sociable and actively participates in class activities. My impression in the first year as his homeroom teacher was that he was a very hard-working boy with good academic achievements.

Whenever there is a difficult problem, he actively tries to find a solution until he can solve it. In particular, the male student only uses his parents' phone number to contact the school, not his own phone," said Ms. Dieu Huyen.

In 2025, in block A00 (math, physics, chemistry combination), there were 8 candidates who achieved a perfect score of 3 10s.

Candidates come from Hanoi, Phu Tho, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh , Ninh Binh, Ba Ria- Vung Tau (according to old administrative boundaries).

This year, the high school graduation exam is held with subjects for both students studying the 2018 generaleducation program and students studying under the new exam plan.

At the same time, the Ministry of Education and Training continues to organize exams for students studying under the 2006 general education program who have not graduated or need to retake the exam for university admission.

Previously, the high school graduation exam marking work started from July 5 to July 13.
