Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Ai Nghia town - Mr. Dang Ngoc Dung reviewed the heroic and heroic tradition in fighting and defeating foreign invaders of the heroic homeland. At the historic moment of 40 years ago, on August 24, 1984, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers (now the Government) issued Decision No. 110 on adjusting administrative boundaries and establishing Ai Nghia town on the basis of the old Dai Phuoc commune, merging part of the administrative boundaries and population of neighboring communes including Dai Nghia, Dai Hiep, Dai Hoa, Dai An. Also during this period, the provisional Party Committee of the town was established, including 3 subordinate Party cells with 54 Party members.

After many mergers and administrative boundary adjustments, Ai Nghia town now has a total natural area of 12.74 ^km2 , divided into 9 neighborhoods, with a population of over 22,000 people. The town's Party Committee has nearly 600 party members with 17 affiliated party cells.

In the period 1984 - 2005, the total production value of the whole town increased by an average of 9%/year, then in the years from 2006 - 2023, it increased by an average of 16%/year. The economic structure has shifted in a positive direction, the proportion of industry - handicrafts - basic construction and services accounts for 96.6% of the economic structure. The average income per capita at the end of 2023 reached 79 million VND, 13.5 times higher than the first day of establishment of Ai Nghia town. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hao - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dai Loc district said that implementing Resolution No. 05, dated December 6, 2016 of Dai Loc District Party Committee on leadership in building Ai Nghia town to meet the standards of a type IV urban area, up to now, the locality has achieved 84.25 points/100 standard points, and is currently striving to complete the remaining 8 criteria to soon meet the standards of a type IV urban area.
