Thu Thua: Long An Provincial Party Secretary attends awarding of 65-year party membership badge to party member Nguyen Van Phai

On the morning of August 27, 2024, the Standing Committee of Thu Thua District Party Committee organized a ceremony to award the 65-year Party membership badge to party member Nguyen Van Phai, a member of the grassroots party committee of Tan Thanh commune, Thu Thua district. Secretary of Long An Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc attended and awarded the badge.

Comrade Nguyen Van Phai, born in 1935, joined the revolution in 1953, was admitted to the party on June 12, 1959, officially on December 12, 1959, currently active in the grassroots party committee of Tan Thanh commune, Thu Thua district.

Comrade Nguyen Van Phai has experienced many different tasks during the resistance war against the US to save the country, and was the former Head of Logistics of Long An province, Chairman of the District Veterans Association, and Chairman of the Thu Thua District Elderly Association. During his work in any position, he always completed the assigned tasks well. His contributions were recognized by the Party and the State and he was awarded many medals such as the Second Class Military Exploit Medal, the First Class Resistance Medal, the First, Second, and Third Class Liberation Medal.
