Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Pham Duc Long works in Tay Ninh

Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Pham Duc Long highly appreciated the achievements of Tay Ninh.

According to the province's report, after 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 36-NQ/TW dated July 1, 2014 of the Politburo , Tay Ninh basically has no more mobile signal depressions; 96.89% of households have smartphones; 92.64% of households have broadband internet fiber optic lines. Tay Ninh currently has 544 poor and near-poor households supported by Tay Ninh telecommunications enterprises to use universal telecommunications services in 2023.

The provincial data integration center ensures stable operation in the direction of cloud computing, capable of meeting the deployment of information technology applications for industries and fields in the province.

Working scene.

100% of agencies, units and localities have internal network systems (LAN) and specialized data transmission network connections in Party and State agencies. The video conferencing system has been deployed, connecting 100% of agencies, units and localities, meeting the requirements for organizing meetings from 4 levels of government under the direction of the Prime Minister .

All sectors and fields, especially economic and technical sectors in the province, apply information technology to enhance competitiveness. The province also promotes the application of information technology in the construction, management and operation of important economic and social infrastructure systems (education, healthcare, transportation, electricity, irrigation, large urban infrastructure, etc.)

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Pham Duc Long highly appreciated Tay Ninh's achievements in digital transformation, digital economic development and digital society; at the same time, reminded Tay Ninh to pay attention to the quality of digital infrastructure. "Digital infrastructure must be really good. Because when businesses close orders, if the network keeps spinning, they cannot close orders" - Mr. Pham Duc Long said.
