Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and delegates attended the special art program " Hanoi - From the historic autumn of 1945".

The program is an important event of Hanoi city, part of a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, while also welcoming major holidays and important historical events of 2025.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Tran Sy Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, stated: After 80 years of defending, building and developing the country, especially nearly 40 years of renovation, under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, our country has achieved many great and historic achievements in all fields; Vietnam's position and prestige have been constantly affirmed and enhanced in the international arena. During that glorious journey, Hanoi - the Capital of a thousand years of culture, the Heroic City, the City for Peace - is the starting point of the journey of national independence, unification and development of the country.

Hanoi today is not only the national political and administrative nerve center, the heart of the whole country, but also a major center of economy, culture, education and training, science, technology and international integration. It is a vivid proof, clearly demonstrating the will, determination and strong aspiration to rise of the Party Committee, government and people of the Capital.

History is skillfully recreated on stage, showing the grandeur but also the lyrical and romanticism of the people of Hanoi in the rain of bombs and bullets, still steadfast in their patriotism, love for their people, determined to sacrifice to regain independence and freedom for the nation in general and for the thousand-year-old land of Thang Long in particular.
