The Prime Minister chaired the preparatory session of the first Government Party Congress.

On the morning of October 12, 2025, at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), the Government Party Committee held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term with the motto: "Solidarity, Discipline - Democratic Innovation - Breakthrough Development - Close to the People". Attending the Congress were 453 delegates, representing more than 209,000 party members from 2,211 grassroots party organizations in the entire Government Party Committee, taking place from October 12 to 13.
