According to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Vietnam is accelerating the implementation of three strategic breakthroughs in synchronous institutional perfection, developing high-quality human resources, and building synchronous and modern infrastructure.
"We are continuing to strongly innovate the growth model, restructure the economy, promote innovation and digital transformation, accelerate energy conversion, develop a green economy and a circular economy," the Prime Minister said. He also asked the WEF and its members to continue to cooperate and support Vietnam in technology, finance, training of high-quality human resources, and modern governance.
The Government leader also hopes that WEF will increase exchanges on world development trends and provide policy advice to help Vietnam enhance its competitiveness, improve the investment and business environment, and adapt to new regulations and trends.
WEF leaders and business representatives said that Vietnam is one of the bright spots in economic recovery in the region, a successful model in disease prevention and control, and plays a pioneering role in transforming the growth model and committing to energy transition.
Professor Klaus Schwab was very impressed with the results of Vietnam's socio-economic recovery and maintenance of macroeconomic stability. He pledged to promote cooperation with Vietnam, closely coordinate with relevant agencies to propose and implement substantive cooperation projects that are in line with Vietnam's interests and WEF's strengths.
Many businesses also appreciate the Vietnamese Government's constant attention and support for the business community, which has resulted in many policies to remove difficulties and create better business conditions. With the Government's drastic policies and measures to create an attractive investment environment, the business community believes that Vietnam is one of the most suitable choices, an investment destination and a place to seek long-term cooperation opportunities.
At the forum, many businesses learned about Vietnam's policies in the field of transport infrastructure development, logistics system improvement, progress in implementing the VIII power planning project, and the situation of promoting digital transformation.
