In the context of the recent security, political and development situation in the region and the world, there have been a number of unfavorable and unstable factors, even in the Asian region, with the theme "Implementing multilateralism, maintaining regional security, promoting sustainable development", this expanded SCO Summit will be an opportunity for heads of government of SCO member states as well as guest leaders such as Vietnam to share and discuss specific measures to strengthen dialogue cooperation, enhance multilateralism to maintain and ensure regional stability and security as well as promote sustainable development cooperation - an area that SCO members are increasingly interested in, a fundamental factor to ensure long-term security and development of the Asian region as well as the world.
