BHG - On the afternoon of May 25, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the ceremony to announce and present the President's Decision appointing comrade Dang Quoc Khanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Ha Giang province as Minister of Natural Resources and Environment for the 2021-2026 term.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated that the National Assembly's approval and the President's appointment of Dang Quoc Khanh as Minister of Natural Resources and Environment is an honor and also a responsibility for comrade Dang Quoc Khanh. He highly appreciated the leadership of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment through the periods of solidarity, efforts, assistance, and support to have a team of officials through generations that are increasingly mature and strong; he requested the leadership team and officials of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to continue to help and support the new Minister Dang Quoc Khanh.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the Ministry's tasks and work are closely related to the people and businesses, and closely related to the country's development. In his acceptance speech, the new Minister Dang Quoc Khanh thanked the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the National Assembly, the Government and the Prime Minister for their trust and assignment of the position of Minister of Natural Resources and Environment. Previously, on the afternoon of May 22, at the 5th Session, the 15th National Assembly passed a Resolution approving the appointment of Comrade Dang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Ha Giang Province as Minister of Natural Resources and Environment for the 2021-2026 term, replacing Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, who is currently holding the position. Immediately afterwards, the President issued Decision No. 525/2023/QD-CTN dated May 22, 2023 appointing Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh.
