Implementing the Prime Minister's direction, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has requested ministries, branches and localities to submit reports on reviewing and removing difficulties and obstacles related to projects before January 20, 2025.

However, by February 7, 2025, only 33 localities (including Quang Nam) and 9 ministries and central agencies had submitted reports.

The Prime Minister commended the ministries, agencies and localities for actively performing their assigned tasks and submitting reports on time; at the same time, he criticized and requested the ministries and 30 localities that have not submitted review reports clearly identifying individual responsibilities to report to the Prime Minister before February 17, 2025.

To promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for projects nationwide, avoiding administrative review and wasting resources, the Prime Minister requested:

Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, and provincial People's Committee Chairmen shall urgently review and fully summarize projects with difficulties, problems, and long-term backlogs according to the forms and contents requested by the Ministry of Planning and Investment in Official Dispatch No. 10339 dated December 16, 2024, and send them to the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Planning and Investment no later than February 15, 2025; be responsible to the Government and the Prime Minister for the completeness and accuracy of the information, content, and data reported and proposed.

After February 15, 2025, if ministries, agencies and localities have not sent reports on reviewing and removing difficulties and obstacles related to projects to the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Prime Minister will assign the Government Inspectorate to conduct inspections to consider responsibilities and strictly handle them according to the regulations of the Central Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity.
