Enjoy the exhibition "Colors of China" - a cultural bridge between Vietnam and China

Special performances, carefully selected from the Chinese art treasure, will be performed by artists of the Central Chinese Ethnic Song and Dance Ensemble at the Hoan Kiem Theater on the evening of August 3-4, in the art program "Colors of China".

The program is directed by the Department of Political Affairs, Ministry of Public Security, Ho Guom Theater to organize, aiming to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); 20 years of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025). The art program "Colors of China" is also an activity in the series of international events Musical Seasons, 2025 of Ho Guom Theater. In the program, artists of the Central Chinese Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe will take the audience to explore the depth of traditional and contemporary Chinese culture.

The organizers said that the performances in the program “Colors of China” not only showcase the beauty of dance, folk songs and traditional music , but also convey the core values of Chinese civilization, harmoniously combining scholarly and popular elements. The program is also a cultural bridge that contributes to enhancing understanding and strengthening friendship between the people of Vietnam and China, sending a message of harmony and aspiration towards a prosperous and sustainable future.

The Central Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe of China was established in 1952 and is a national-level professional art unit under the Nationalities Committee and the United Front Work Department of China. With more than 300 artists from 36 ethnic groups, the troupe specializes in performing and preserving traditional art forms: from the colorful dances of the Tibetans and Uyghurs to the folk songs of the Mong, Bai, and Zhuang peoples...

The performances harmoniously combine scholarly and popular elements, not only conveying artistic values but also telling stories rich in identity about the lives, customs and souls of ethnic minority communities. The troupe regularly organizes mobile performances in ethnic minority areas and border areas, and actively participates in important cultural and foreign affairs activities of the Party and State. The troupe has performed in more than 70 countries and territories with more than 100 performances each year, leaving a deep impression on the international arena.
