(Chinhphu.vn) - On the afternoon of September 2, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member and Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat, received Comrade Jesús Faria, Vice President of the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), leading a delegation of the PSUV and the Venezuelan Government to attend the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Comrade Tran Cam Tu warmly welcomed Vice President of the PSUV Jesús Faria to return to Vietnam and highly appreciated the PSUV and the Government of Venezuela sending a high-ranking delegation to attend two important celebrations of the Party, State and people of Vietnam. This is a great source of encouragement, demonstrating the solidarity and close relationship between the two Parties and the valuable support of the Party, State and people of Venezuela for the cause of defending and building the Fatherland of the Vietnamese people.

Comrade Tran Cam Tu highly appreciated the positive development of the relationship between the two countries in recent times, suggesting that the two sides continue to increase delegation exchanges and contacts at all levels through Party, State, National Assembly channels and people-to-people exchanges; effectively implement the mechanisms of Political Consultation at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers and the Intergovernmental Committee as well as cooperation documents signed between the two Parties, States and Governments; continue to create conditions for the two countries' strong products to access each other's markets to increase bilateral trade turnover; promote investment cooperation in the fields of energy, telecommunications, agriculture, construction materials, etc.

For his part, PSUV Vice President Jesús Faria expressed his joy and honor to return to visit Vietnam on the occasion of the great anniversary; warmly congratulated the Communist Party, State and People of Vietnam on the occasion of the 80th National Day and the great achievements that the Party, State and people of Vietnam have achieved, expressed his admiration and respect for the heroic historical tradition of the struggle for independence, national freedom and national unification of the Vietnamese people as well as his deep admiration for President Ho Chi Minh, for the Communist Party of Vietnam and the heroic Vietnamese people, who have overcome all difficulties and challenges, bringing Vietnam to strong and powerful development, being a shining example and inspiration for the progressive revolutionary movement in the world.

PSUV Vice President Jesus Faria thanked the Party, State and people of Vietnam for their solidarity and valuable support for the Venezuelan people, affirming that Venezuela considers Vietnam an important partner and is determined to continue strengthening the relationship between the two countries to effectively contribute to the development of each country.

On this occasion, the two sides agreed to continue to strengthen and exchange experiences between the two Parties, and enhance practical and effective cooperation within the framework of international organizations and multilateral forums./.
