Reporting on the results of training new soldiers at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Minh Duc, Commander of Regiment 165, affirmed that in order to successfully complete the task, the Regiment has closely coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to conduct infiltration, recruitment, ensuring proper procedures, sufficient numbers, selecting outstanding young people who meet political , cultural, and health standards, meeting the requirements of training and service in the Army.

During the training process, the Party Committee and the Command of Regiment 165 focused on leadership and close direction, proposed many appropriate policies and measures; organized drastic and synchronous implementation and achieved good results. Correctly identified key tasks for each stage and specific work content; closely directed and deployed many practical and effective measures to successfully complete training tasks and prepare for combat.

Training and combat readiness are strictly maintained. Cadres at all levels proactively follow the unit, guide, train, and promptly encourage new soldiers to overcome initial difficulties, quickly integrate into the military environment, and create positive changes right from the first week and month of training.

The unit focuses on training new soldiers to have a firm grasp of technical and tactical features and know how to use weapons, master mine detection and clearance techniques, know how to build and camouflage fortifications, and apply them appropriately to terrain and tactical situations.

After 3 months of training, Regiment 165 successfully completed the 3-explosion test, of which 100% of the content was good or better, the unit ensured absolute safety.

To continue to better fulfill the tasks in the coming time, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia requested the Party Committee and the command of Regiment 165 to focus on leading and directing the promotion of the results achieved in the training period for new soldiers; strengtheneducation and training to improve the comprehensive qualifications of officers and soldiers; build a steadfast and steadfast political stance, not wavering in the face of all difficulties and challenges; gradually perfect the personality of a revolutionary soldier, ready to receive and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

The Deputy Chief of the General Staff reminded Regiment 165 to urgently stabilize its organization, personnel, and weapons and equipment in accordance with regulations; develop and implement a scientific, synchronous, and close-to-mission training and combat readiness plan.
