Once known as a famous businessman in the technology field in Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh (nickname Shark Binh) - Chairman of NextTech Group - recently caused a stir in public opinion when a person claiming to be the CTO (Technical Director) of the AntEx project accused him of being the one behind and directing the withdrawal of liquidity, causing the project to collapse and investors to lose money.
Previously, the AntEx cryptocurrency project was a "stormy" name during the crypto market growth period in 2021. AntEx was introduced in September 2021 as a "Make in Vietnam" Blockchain ecosystem, with the ambition to develop a decentralized exchange, e-wallet and digital financial applications. However, after a short time, the value of AntEx tokens plummeted, causing many investors to suffer heavy losses.
Mr. Binh announced an investment of 2.5 million USD in this project through the Next100Blockchain fund, and also held the role of strategic advisor, in the context that at that time crypto assets had no legal basis in Vietnam.
But shortly after, the AntEx token plummeted and lost 99% of its value, and the project's official website and social media channels also stopped working.
In March 2023, AntEx suddenly changed its name to Rabbit (RAB), but the new token also continued to fall sharply, losing about 95% of its value compared to its peak, raising controversy and doubts about transparency.

Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh (aka Shark Binh).
Recently, an anonymous “former associate” accused Shark Binh of having a central role in the Antex/Rabbit “scam”. Specifically, the accuser said: Shark Binh held the “wallet key”, controlled the finances, and directed the sale of tokens after listing.
Mr. Binh also admitted: " Previously, I invested in the AntEx digital asset issuance project. However, the technology team committed wrongdoings and then disappeared, causing investors and advisors like me to be discredited ."
Explaining the mention of AntEx after a long time, Mr. Binh said that he has the responsibility to share his experience to alert the community, to avoid failure, loss of money, and reputation damage like he was...
" They launch coins, collect 3-5 million USD, then start to "fail". Most projects do not continue or fail, 99% of coins fall into this situation. Investors lose money while project owners keep the money and benefit legally ", Shark Binh wrote.
A wave of controversy broke out when Shark Binh frankly warned: " Don't get too caught up in blockchain, Fintech, coins... ". The online community was "stirred up" because previously, this "shark" had participated in investing in the development of the AntEX digital asset project.
Afterwards, an anonymous account posted a rebuttal to Shark Binh's statements, asserting that the Chairman of NextTech was the one behind AntEX's collapse, benefiting financially but claiming he was deceived.
An investor has reported to Hanoi City Police about suspicions related to the AntEx project.
