At the meeting to announce information about the 2025 Autumn Fair, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, said this is a national trade event of unprecedented scale and stature.
The Deputy Minister said that this is an event chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade , in coordination with relevant ministries and agencies, scheduled to take place from October 26 to November 4 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) (Hanoi).
"This fair is the largest ever. The total area is about 13 hectares, including 5 sub-areas with about 3,000 booths. It is expected to welcome millions of visitors during the entire period, continuing the success of the 80-year National Achievement Exhibition," said the Deputy Minister.
Responding to Dan Tri reporter's question about the support level and promotional program for people and businesses participating in the fair, Mr. Vu Ba Phu, Director of the Trade Promotion Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), said that the Ministry has allowed the application of promotional levels of up to 100% for businesses and entities participating in the fair.
"Depending on financial capacity, units can implement many attractive incentive programs, expected to create a big boost in revenue and purchasing power on this special occasion," he said.
Mr. Vu Ba Phu said that this is the first time that trade promotion activities have been synchronously combined with investment and service promotion, along with cultural and tourism promotion. He expects this coordination to create a strong, unprecedented spillover effect.
Sharing more about the work of controlling the quality of goods at the fair, Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan said that the organizing committee will set up a hotline to receive and promptly handle issues arising regarding the quality and prices of goods at the fair.

"Before the opening, relevant units will coordinate to review and inspect all goods to ensure standards and quality for people and businesses. During the process, market management forces will also regularly check and control the quality and prices of goods," said the Deputy Minister.
The Deputy Minister said that at first, the Ministry of Industry and Trade organized the fair under the direction of the Prime Minister , with the goal of achieving many "firsts". However, through the implementation process, learning from international experiences and recording a large number of businesses registering to participate, the Ministry realized that the actual demand was very high.
"Therefore, after summarizing the fair's results, the Ministry plans to propose to the Prime Minister to allow this event to be held annually in the near future," Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan shared.
The 2025 Autumn Fair includes 5 zones for displaying and experiencing unique economic and cultural experiences. Specifically, the "Autumn Prosperity" zone gathers large enterprises, introducing high-tech products and green energy.
