Deputy Director of the Vietnam Sports Administration, Head of the Vietnamese delegation at the 33rd SEA Games Nguyen Hong Minh acknowledged the efforts of the host country. Mr. Minh assessed that Thailand had overcome many difficulties to organize the 33rd Southeast Asian Games.
Mr. Minh said: "Although the host country is experiencing many difficulties such as natural disasters and is in the period of national mourning for Queen Mother Siriki, the whole of Thailand has made great efforts to organize the 33rd SEA Games."

“This is a great effort by the host country. Therefore, the responsibility of the delegations in general and the responsibility of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation in particular is to contribute with the Organizing Committee (OC) to join hands for the common success of the 33rd SEA Games,” added Head of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation Nguyen Hong Minh.
Regarding the Vietnamese sports delegation attending the 33rd SEA Games, Head of the delegation Nguyen Hong Minh said that in addition to the doctors serving the football team, this time the delegation includes 19 doctors from the Vietnam Sports Hospital and national sports training and education centers.
This is the force responsible for health care, injury recovery and physical fitness for athletes during the competition in Thailand.
Mr. Minh shared: “This is a huge and difficult workload for the medical staff. We hope that in the coming time, with the State's attention to policies and regimes, the sports medical staff will improve.”
“From there, the team of sports medicine professionals will develop, helping us catch up with the professional level of countries in the region, moving closer to the Asian Games and Olympic arenas.

Especially for football teams and some other teams, we are currently coordinating with domestic companies to apply AI technology to serve training, and will apply it to all sports teams when participating in training and competition," Mr. Minh expressed.
Head of the delegation Nguyen Hong Minh expressed his hope that competing and rubbing shoulders with strong opponents in the region, especially athletes from Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore, whose sports have reached world-class levels in some sports, will become a driving force for Vietnamese athletes to improve their professional skills.
Through that, our athletes gradually shorten the gap, and aim for higher achievements at the Asiad and Olympics.
