(NLDO) - Billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao emphasized that the responsibility of entrepreneurs is not only profit but also creating social value.

On September 11, the Private Economic Development Research Board (Board IV) held a ceremony to announce the "Vietnam Private Economic Panorama Model" and introduce the Executive Council and key personnel of the Committees - within the framework of the first Vietnam Private Economic Panorama program.

This is an important step, aiming to detail the goals, values, and operation methods of the model, towards the first "Panorama of Vietnam's Private Economy", a major event of the model scheduled to be held on October 10, 2025 in Hanoi , associated with Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Head of Department IV, member of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Private Economic Panorama, shared: "The nation's destiny has come, accordingly, each entrepreneur needs to answer the question of what to do in the future to move towards the goal of "Public - private nation building: Strong, prosperous".

The model of the Vietnamese private economic panorama aims at the goal of "Public - private national construction: Strong and prosperous", promoting the mechanism of working together and sharing responsibility between the private sector and state agencies in economic development; it is also a place where the intelligence, resources and profound voices, great solutions of the private business community from large to small converge, contributing to realizing the goal of developing the private economy into the most important driving force of the economy".

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Sovico Group, shared that the private economy not only contributes more than 40% of GDP but we are moving towards 60-70% of GDP.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao expressed: "Private enterprises accompany the Government in policy making so that every economic decision has a scientific and practical basis. And this is not only a tool but also a lever to unlock resources, making the private economy a national pillar, playing a key role in the country's development until 2030 and vision to 2045.

We understand that the responsibility of entrepreneurs is not only profit but also creating social values, sustainable development, protecting the environment and spreading confidence to the nation" - Ms. Thao emphasized.

In the era of strong development and integration of the country, billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao said that private enterprises and national enterprises have the mission to play a pioneering role in innovation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, green technology, and green finance, not only to develop for themselves but also to contribute to realizing the aspiration of a prosperous Vietnam.
